Solutionaries: Inspiring a Generation of Climate Innovators

Solutionaries is an environmental education initiative dedicated to shining a light on real-world climate change solutions. Our mission is to mobilize people—especially young people—to discover, share, and implement effective, community-based actions that restore balance to our planet.

Through interactive storytelling, books, films, and other multimedia experiences, Solutionaries engages young audiences in powerful, hands-on ways—transforming concern into creativity and action.

Phase I: The Solutionaries eBook Series

The first phase of the project is a three-part interactive eBook series designed to empower children to explore climate change solutions and connect with real-life “solutionaries”—the everyday heroes building a sustainable future.

This innovative learning model encourages children to work independently or in small groups (families, classmates, or friends) while participating in an online forum that allows teams around the world to collaborate and share discoveries.

Inspired by the SOLE (Self-Organized Learning Environments) approach pioneered by TED Prize–winner Dr. Sugata Mitra, each eBook challenges children to answer three Big Questions about climate action—fostering curiosity, teamwork, and a sense of global community.
